Anti-inflammatory drugs lower the effectiveness of antidepressants, also called as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). These drugs taken for obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety disorders and depression include aspirin, ibuprofen, and naproxen.
